NWLCA Deputy Chairman Political Attends CCHQ Campaign Academy
North West Leicestershire Conservative Association’s newly appointed Deputy Chairman Political, Aimee Garner has recently completed the CCHQ Campaign Academy, a rigorous, three-day course designed specifically for campaign managers. The programme brings together a strong mix of professional campaigners and experienced volunteers, offering a high-impact learning experience focused on delivering local electoral success.
Held in partnership with the Leadership Institute, the Academy draws inspiration from its renowned Campaign Leadership College (CLC), one of the most comprehensive training programmes available to conservative campaigners worldwide. The CLC was founded by Morton Blackwell to ensure conservative candidates never lose due to a lack of skilled staff.
While the full CLC programme spans nine days, the CCHQ version is a condensed yet intensive course, covering the fundamentals of campaign management, strategic planning, grassroots mobilisation, fundraising, and effective communication. Attendees were also guided through the process of writing and refining a professional campaign plan under the mentorship of expert faculty.
Speaking after the course, Aimee said:
“It was a privilege to learn alongside such a talented group of campaigners. The Academy gave me the tools and insights needed to support our candidates more effectively across North West Leicestershire. With elections always just around the corner, this kind of training is invaluable.”
The experience marks another step in strengthening NWLCA’s campaign readiness and ensuring local Conservatives have the strategic support required to win.
